You can choose to book just one session or join our membership and have everything documented from pregnancy to baby's 1st birthday. Most of our clients join the membership to take advantage of the savings. Keep scrolling to learn more!
HOW IT WORKS
WHEN YOU INQUIRE ABOUT A SESSION HERE IS WHAT WILL HAPPEN...
PLANNING YOUR SESSION
Once you are booked you'll receive an invite link to schedule a Zoom design consultation/Getting to Know You chat so we can learn more about you and your family. This will help us plan the perfect session and get all the photos you've dreamed of!
We will discuss wardrobe, styling, posing, coloring and so much more to help us have a stress free photo session.
DAY OF YOUR SESSION
It's time to relax and have fun! For newborn sessions we typically start around 10am on weekday mornings. We will shoot in the nursery and master bedroom but we can also use other areas of your home that have good light. Newborn sessions last anywhere from 45min-2 hours.
For maternity and family sessions we use our home studio or at your home or go to an outdoor location. Outdoor sessions start 1-2 hours before sunset and last 45 min.
CHOOSE YOUR COLLECTION
About 3-4 days after your session you'll receive your online proof gallery where you can see all your photos from the comfort of your home and then pick your collection. Collection may include a set amount of digital files, prints and products to get started displaying your favorite photos.
Once you select your collection, you’ll receive your edited pictures within 10-14 days. You'll have access to the gallery to download your digital files and your prints and album will arrive with 3 weeks.

During my busy times, I get booked a couple of months in advance so I recommend booking at least two months in
advance to ensure availability.
-Maternity sessions: I recommend scheduling your maternity
session when you're around 24-32 weeks.
- Newborn sessions: The best time for newborn sessions is when
baby is less than 2 weeks old since that's when they're the most
sleepy. Don't worry if baby is already past the two week mark...
I've done plenty of older newborn sessions too! Just know that
they may not sleep as much once but the awake photos are just
as special.
- Outdoor sessions: Outdoor sessions take place in the morning or evenings (before sunset) when the lighting is best. If the weather isn't ideal for the session (either raining or to cold) we will reschedule. I typically wait until the day of the session to
decide if we need to reschedule because the weather forecast
isn't always reliable.
STEP 2: THE SESSION
Once you’ve booked your session, I’ll send you a link to schedule your Zoom design consultation. I will walk you through everything from choosing outfits to strategies for getting babies and kids to cooperate for the session. We also disscuss collections in detail. Each session and collection is designed specifically based on your taste and style. A few days before the session, I’ll reach out to confirm our time and location.
STEP 3: THE FUN PART!
After your session, I’ll get started working on your gallery right away. The # of images in a gallery varies with each session, but a typical gallery will have 40+ images. I’ll send you an e-mail as soon as your proof gallery is ready. Once you’ve had a chance to view your photos, you’ll let me know which collection you want to purchase. Please see below for start collection for either petite or luxury collections.
If you’re like me and like to see and feel things like album covers and paper types in person, I have samples of all the physical products at my studio and you’ll see them on the day of your photoshoot. I can also bring samples with me for on location newborn sessions.
What you’re going to do with your images is perhaps the most important aspect to consider when you’re planning for your session, but it’s all too often overlooked… all that time and money invested deserve a better return than photos gathering dust on a hard drive somewhere. You’ll never get the same feeling looking at your photos on a screen as you will seeing them on your wall or flipping through the pages of an album.
Each Luxury collection comes with the digital images and fine art prints, there’s a big difference in quality when you compare prints and albums from consumer labs vs. professional labs. That’s why I’ve partnered with some of the best professional labs to offer beautiful products to my clients. Below is a sample of some of the items you can choose from:
CLIENT SATISFCATION
I know that custom photography is an investment and mom’s may worry that things won’t go perfectly at their session. First, let me assure you that there’s no such a thing as a perfect session… because life isn’t perfect! Things probably won’t go exactly as planned, and that’s ok! All of the prep info that I send before the session will help prepare you and your family for the session so that the session will go as smoothly as possible… I’ll make sure you’re prepared ahead of time so that you’re not running around and stressed the day of the session… because if mom’s stressed, kids, husbands (and even babies) can pick up on that and it can affect their mood. I’ll give you tips on how to prepare your kids and spouse so that they’re ready for the session too. I also have some tips specifically for newborn sessions to help make sure that babies are calm and sleepy for their session.
My #1 goal is to make my clients happy… from the time you book your session until I deliver your printed products, I want to make sure you know what to expect throughout the entire process. My client’s favorite part of the session (and mine too!) is seeing their images displayed in their home… whether in an album or framed on their walls. My professional lab provides beautiful products, and I guarantee the quality and color for any of the products purchased from my lab. If there is ever a quality issue with any of the products purchased from my lab I’m happy to replace them at no cost.

If you’re ready to book your session, please send me an e-mail so I can confirm availability and then I”ll send over a link to the contract and session fee invoice. Once I send the contract your session date will be held for 24 hours, and then once I receive the contract and session fee I’ll put your date on my calendar to reserve your session. I’ll also send over a link to schedule your Zoom Design Consultation.
